As you already know, I firmly believe that the treatment for each patient is unique and that in most cases to achieve a prolonged effect in time it is necessary to complement the hair transplant with a medical treatment.
There are 2 commandments in hair transplantation: the first is that medical treatment is fundamental and the second is not to make a first line above the patient's possibilities.
In the case of young patients with advanced alopecia, the most natural approach is achieved with a first line that is not conservative but not aggressive. In this way the transplant can be maintained for life and the patient will have a natural appearance. Very conservative lines do not change the patient's image and aggressive lines risk being lost a few years after the transplant and become unnatural. As you can imagine, a conservative line can be retouched to make it more aggressive but it is not so easy the other way around as it happens when we go to the hairdresser and we prefer to cut less.
I bring you the result of the hair transplant after 12 months of a patient with combined treatment of medication and transplant of 2674 UFs.
As you can see in the image above, we see a significant improvement before and after treatment in the patient. With the indicated medical guidelines he will be able to continue with the appearance achieved after the hair transplant for the rest of his life.
