Hair transplant is a surgical reconstructive technique whose objective is to partially or completely restore the hair aesthetics of men and women who suffer or have suffered alopecia.
The goal is to be natural
My obsession when I perform a transplant is that the final result be natural and although the gain in hair density is significant, it does not artificially attract attention.
A transplant between 1500-1800 follicular units (FUs) is considered a small transplant. It is ideal for the receding hairline.
(1800 - 2500 FUs)
A transplant between 1800-2500 follicular units (FUs) is considered a medium transplant. It is ideal for partial or complete recovery of the anterior third of the scalp.
A transplant of more than 2,500 follicular units (FUs) is considered a large transplant. It is ideal for partial or complete recovery of the anterior two thirds of the scalp.
A transplant of more than 3,500 follicular units (FUs) is considered a mega transplant session. It is ideal for partial or complete recovery of patients with very significant alopecia who have a sufficient donor area.
Eyebrow transplantation can be a good alternative in the case of madarosis (complete loss) of the eyebrows.
In selected cases of frontal fibrosing alopecia, a very significant improvement is achieved.
