A transplant between 1800-2500 follicular units (FUs) is considered a medium transplant. It is ideal for partial or complete recovery of the anterior third of the scalp.
Large transplant
(>2500 FUs)
A transplant of more than 2,500 follicular units (FUs) is considered a large transplant. It is ideal for partial or complete recovery of the anterior two thirds of the scalp.
Mega session
(>3500 FUs)
A transplant of more than 3,500 follicular units (FUs) is considered a mega transplant session. It is ideal for partial or complete recovery of patients with very significant alopecia who have a sufficient donor area.
Eyebrow transplant
Eyebrow transplantation can be a good alternative in the case of madarosis (complete loss) of the eyebrows.
